Democracy Happy Hour
Join OSPIRG and other Portlanders passionate about getting big money out of politics at our Democracy Happy Hour on Thursday, October 20th. Demonstrate your support for restoring local democracy as the Portland City Council considers the Open and Accountable Elections Act.
The Open and Accountable Elections Act would establish a small donor empowerment program for elections to Portland city office by matching small campaign contributions. The Portland City Council could vote as early as November, which means we need to raise awareness and support for the proposal right now.
Enjoy happy hour food and drinks while learning what you can do to get involved and restore democracy to our local elections!
