Urge Governor Brown to support a public option

Premiums on the Health Insurance Marketplace have risen 71 percent since 2014, and with the COVID-19 pandemic, the rate of uninsurance has risen from 6 percent to an estimated 13 percent. Governor Brown has included a public option in her budget proposal, and we could use her support as we introduce a bill in just a few short weeks.

Urge the governor to back the adoption of a public option next year.
